CityCamp is an unconference dedicated to practicing Gov 2.0 at the local level.

Goals

Bring together local government officials, municipal employees, civic communities, coders, and designers to share perspectives and insights
Establish patterns that cities can use to add value to citizens' lives using the Web as a platform

Plan to take public transit to the event. The folks who run the UIC Innovation Center tell us that there is no parking available near the Center on weekends except for meters that need to be fed every hour. The website says otherwise, but we are told that the lots they reference are closed on weekends. Public transit information follows:

By Train:  The CTA’s Blue Line Rail stops one half-block northeast of the Center at the Racine stop.

By Bus : The CTA’s #7 Harrison Bus stops right outside of the UIC Innovation Center at the Lytle stop. The #60 Blue Island/26th Bus stops on the corner of Harrison and Racine.

If you must drive, directions are here, and there MAY be a lot open connected with a different event nearby, but we can't confirm this. We are told there will definitely be no lots open on Sunday.
